If you believe that you are fit to receive unemployment checks in Maine, you can apply through three ways:
Visit the Maryland Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulation office. Applying personally requires you to sign some forms and undergo an interview.

Once you apply, you need to wait at least 2-3 weeks before you get a reply. If you are told to bring extra documents, do not hesitate to do so. If you finish this matter immediately, your application will be processed faster. If you were denied, you can still apply for an appeal. If approved, just wait and you will receive your check.
